On November 15, 2019, the Faith House officially opened its doors, extending a warm welcome to 8 women veterans. Owned and operated by The Honor HER Foundation, this unique establishment stands as the sole refuge of its kind along the Gulf Coast, specifically catering to displaced single female veterans. Unlike a mere shelter, Faith House is a true home.
The Faith House can comfortably accommodate up to 11 women. Itsfacilities include a fully equipped kitchen, a computer lab, a sewingroom, a laundry area, and common living spaces. All of this is madepossible through community contributions and local sponsorships.Faith House embodies compassion, support, and empowerment forthose women who have served our country.
The Honor HER Foundation, established in 2016, goes beyond addressing homelessness; it tackles underlying issues as well. Within its walls, qualified and licensed professionals volunteer their time to provide essential services:
